College Magazines

College magazines have a layout very similar to any other magazine in the respect they have a heading, main image, left/right third, sell/cover lines and maybe a puff. The main thing that makes them different is the content. From the front cover you can see their is all ways an image of a student and the sell/cover lines are about revision and future choices such as what university to go to. Also theirs usually a competition illustrated in a puff to make it stand out.

The content includes all kinds of articles on up-coming events, socials, gossip, education, clubs, exams and revision tips. Also student discount, transport guides, information for new students, a guide round college as well as interviews with the staff, guides on pressure and where to get help. CV/Personal statement help and competitions.

  1. That isn't the only typo in the text. It is littered with them. Make sure you are accurate in your written communication - you are being marked on your ability to be able to communicate your ideas effectively.
